Real and authentic words go a long way

The year 2020 has been one long, great journey in itself. It was a year of deep reflection and self- analysis for me; like it was for many of us. There were so many new things, challenges and experiences and so many wonderful people that came along.

It all started about twelve months ago when I was exploring various things regarding digital marketing and blogging especially, as I had a new-found love for writing and voicing my ideas and opinions out.

I came across a whole new world of digital marketing through Dev Gadhvi and started exploring with a lot of curiosity then I got my mentor Siddharth Rajsekhar and got introduced to the who and who of the digital marketing industry.

Then began a whole new journey into the internet world.

I never had considered myself to be a blogger. But eventually, I developed an interest for writing and started writing a piece or two here and there. Later, I considered learning from professionals.

During my journey, I came across a testimonial for someone called Uma Madhavi and her company ContentVidhya by Digital Deepak. I had known Deepak through his video and was amazed at the value I got through his youtube video on blogging. I knew he had substance and his testimonial had a lot of weightage.

I looked up ContentVidhya but I was disappointed that the course was not happening anytime soon. I thought I will not get an opportunity to learn from Uma Madhavi.

During that time, I read an article by an older student of Uma Madhavi here on Medium and it was such a valuable one for me.

Though it was more of a testimony, it had so much of valuable content. Since I had started writing little pieces, I immediately applied the tips shared in the article. From the same person I learnt about Writer’s block and a super hack to overcome it. I still use it and I can’t say how much those tips have helped me.

One fine day, I saw an ad by ContentVidhya for an upcoming batch of content writing training and I just jumped in and the wait was all worth it.

I offer my sincere gratitude to that generous student, my mentor Siddharth Rajsekhar, Dev Gadhvi, Digital Deepak and Uma Madhavi for all the knowledge and the learnings that I got from them.

If my post can help someone in finding value like I found, then my purpose is served. I feel this is the least I can do for all that I have learnt from these people and implemented in my writing journey.

I know that I have a long way to go and I am sure that the beginning was the most difficult part. My beginning has been made very easy by the valuable content such dedicated people have created.

I hope that these few words reach many people like me who have a passion for sharing their words and ideas with the world but have no idea where to begin.

I will be very glad if my few words can help someone take their first step towards writing and help them take a good and informed decision to move ahead in this wonderful journey of writing.

I hope that the people who need mentors find their mentors and surrender to their gurus to have a wonderful journey of life.

I have come to believe that when our words are real and authentic then it can reach the needy on time. I am so happy that I have done my bit and I am feeling so privileged.

Thank you ContentVidhya and team for all your efforts and support.
